When I’m teaching overseas or visiting friends in the USA or abroad, something always captures my interest. It could a historical detail, a story, a dance, or a piece of music. Once I’m hooked, I start my research.
Other times, a teacher, parent, or organization will ask me to write about something and if it piques my curiosity, I’m off and running!
